OUR STORY?
 

IT STARTED WITH A SIMPLE QUESTION

Why should finding clothes you like become harder simply because of the size you wear?

That question became the beginning of Full Size Trading Company.

The idea wasn't to build another online clothing store.

It was to build the kind of store we believed should already exist.
 

THE IDEA

Walk through almost any clothing store and you'll see plenty of choices.

Until you start looking for certain sizes.

Then the selection gets smaller.

The colors disappear.

The styles become limited.

Sometimes you're sent to a completely different section of the store.

And sometimes your size simply isn't available at all.

We thought there had to be a better way.

So we began imagining a store where size wasn't the first thing defining the customer.

The customer came first. The size came second.

That idea became Full Size Trading Company.
 

FULL SIZE MEANS MORE THAN SIZE

The name Full Size Trading Company came to represent something larger than clothing measurements.

It represents the idea of building a full-size store—one with room for different people, different styles, different needs, and different ideas.
 
Men.
Women.
Children.
Families.
Teams.
Businesses.
Churches.
Bands.
Workers.
Creators.
 

And anybody looking for something that's a little different.

That's the FSTCO we're building.
 

THEN THE IDEA GREW

What began primarily as an inclusive clothing concept didn't stay small for very long.

We started asking:
 
Why stop with everyday clothing?
Why not formal wear?
Why not team uniforms?
Why not merchandise for bands and businesses?
Why not children's clothing?
Why not products for the home?
And if someone has an idea of their own, why shouldn't we help them put that idea onto something they can actually wear or use?
 

Those questions led to new departments, new collections, Teamwear, BandWear, WorkWear, specialty apparel, Home & Living, and the FSTCO Design Studio.

The original idea kept growing.

But the philosophy behind it never changed.
 

BUILDING SOMETHING DIFFERENT

FSTCO wasn't built from a giant corporate blueprint.

It has been built one decision at a time.
 
One department.
One category.
One design.
One product.
 

And occasionally, one lesson learned the hard way.

We've changed things when they didn't work.

We've rebuilt things when we knew they could be better.

And we'll probably continue doing both.

Because we'd rather improve than pretend we got everything right the first time.
 

WHY OUR STORE LOOKS DIFFERENT

We wanted FSTCO to feel less like searching through a giant online warehouse and more like walking through an organized department store.

That's why we've put so much thought into how our departments and categories are arranged.

If you're shopping for men's formal wear, that's where we want to take you.

If you're shopping for your baby, you shouldn't have to dig through youth and adult merchandise first.

If you're outfitting a baseball team, you shouldn't have to search through hundreds of unrelated shirts.

The store should help you shop.

You shouldn't have to learn how to shop the store.
 

MADE FOR EVERY BODY                      

Eventually, everything came down to four words:

MADE FOR EVERY BODY.

It's more than our slogan.

It's the standard we're trying to build toward.

We won't be able to offer every product in every possible size. Different manufacturers have different limitations.

But we'll keep searching for better choices.

We'll keep expanding where we can.

And we'll never stop believing that style shouldn't belong to only a particular size, age, shape, or group of people.
 

THE STORY ISN'T FINISHED

Full Size Trading Company is still growing.

New products will come.

New designs will be created.

New departments and ideas may appear that we haven't even thought of yet.

Some things will change along the way.

That's part of building something.

But one thing isn't changing:

The reason we started.

We wanted to create a place with more choices for more people.

And that's exactly what we're going to keep building.
